Job summary

Grindr is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Growth to partner with our Head of Growth to build Grindr’s growth function and help more people find lasting value in the product.

You’ll own key initiatives across the user lifecycle, developing a multi-quarter roadmap for activation, retention, reactivation, and churn prevention, and work with Data Science, Marketing, and international teams to translate insights into product priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on product management experience owning complex consumer products from strategy through launch and iteration.
• Experience defining multi-quarter product strategies that improve activation, engagement, or retention.
• Strong analytical judgment using product data, experiments, and behavioral insights.
• Deep user orientation with the ability to connect qualitative insight to quantitative evidence.

Responsibilities

• Help build Grindr’s growth product function from the ground up, identifying opportunities across the user lifecycle.
• Develop and drive a multi-quarter roadmap spanning activation, retention, reactivation, and churn prevention.
• Improve the new-user experience from discovery through onboarding and the first seven days.
• Lead discovery, experimentation, launch, and iteration across high-impact growth initiatives.
• Partner with Data Science to deepen understanding of DAU/MAU and translate insights into priorities.
• Collaborate with Marketing on App Store optimization and lifecycle capabilities, including Braze & AppsFlyer.
