Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking an ADS Delivery Pharmacy Technician in the Atlanta metro area. The role requires a GA license, pharmacy experience, and ability to drive within the state. You will deliver medication restocks to skilled nursing facilities and coordinate with pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities include using ADS systems (Pyxis/Omnicell), data entry, and reporting. The position includes mileage reimbursement and standard Monday–Friday hours with a focus on accurate, timely service.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician.
  • Previous pharmacy experience required; long-term care experience preferred.
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and data entry preferred.
  • Must be able to use various programs efficiently and troubleshoot ADS problems.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills; basic math and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medication restocks to skilled nursing facilities.
  • Maintain communication with client facilities and pharmacy staff.
  • Use reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
  • Maintain accurate ADS information (quantity, expiration date).
  • Identify discrepancies for proper billing and fix issues.
  • Replace expiring inventory; restock depleted stock.
  • Support monthly audits (cycle counts).
  • Provide reports to facilities; perform other supervisor-assigned tasks.

NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking ADS Delivery Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
  • Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Deliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilities.
  • Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
  • Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
  • Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
  • Replace potentially expiring inventory.
  • Restock depleted inventory.
  • Monthly audits (cycle count).
  • Provide reports for the facility.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Important: Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area.
  • Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
  • Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.
  • A valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation required.
  • Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia.
Shift
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Mileage Reimbursement
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between facilities.
