Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking an ADS Delivery Pharmacy Technician to support facilities around Atlanta, GA. You will deliver medication restocks, communicate with facility staff, and help ensure accurate ADS inventory.

The role requires being local to Sandy Springs, Georgia, a Georgia Pharmacy Technician license, and prior pharmacy experience. Familiarity with Pyxis/Omnicell and data entry is expected, with some driving between sites.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area.
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Previous pharmacy experience required (1 year in long-term care preferred).
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation required.
• Willing to drive long distances within Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilities.
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Monthly audits (cycle count).
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
