Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a Field Pharmacy Technician to operate in the Atlanta, GA area. The role involves delivering medication restocks to skilled nursing facilities and maintaining dashboards within ADS systems, while staying in close contact with pharmacy staff and clients.

Ideal candidates are Georgia-licensed technicians with relevant long-term care experience, strong organizational skills, and willingness to drive across the state. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician.
  • One year of experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Experience with Pyxis and Omnicell ADS is preferred.
  • Proficient with data entry and various software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Deliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilities.
  • Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
  • Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
  • Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
  • Replace potentially expiring inventory.
  • Restock depleted inventory.
  • Monthly audits (cycle count).
  • Provide reports for the facility.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking Field Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:
  • Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Deliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilities.
  • Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
  • Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).

Qualifications:
  • Important: Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area.
  • Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
  • Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.
  • A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation required.
  • Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia.
Shift:
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Mileage Reimbursement:
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between facilities.
