Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to configure and implement ADP Workforce Now for new clients. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to translate payroll requirements into system solutions, ensure accurate setup, and support testing and go-live.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of payroll experience, ADP WF Now familiarity, and strong Excel/data skills. Bachelor’s degree required; CPP preferred. This role supports seamless transitions to ongoing service teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of payroll experience with exposure to system implementations or configuration.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now platforms.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and system workflows.
• Proficiency in Excel and data handling (mapping, validation).
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain system processes to clients.
• CPP certification preferred (or in progress).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll system implementations for new clients on ADP Workforce Now.
• Configure WFN per client requirements: earnings, deductions, tax settings, employee data.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on plans, timelines and deliverables.
• Document client payroll requirements and data needs.
• Perform data mapping, validation and data migration support.
• Develop calculations for ADP upload to mainframe.
• Execute system testing including payroll parallel testing.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and escalate complex challenges as needed.
• Assist in client training on payroll system functionality.
• Ensure accurate configuration before go-live and transition to ongoing support.
