Job summary

Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey is seeking a Payroll Specialist to prepare, process, and reconcile bi-weekly payrolls for year-round staff and Medford Camp seasonal staff using ADP Workforce Now. The role involves data manipulation in Excel, importing templates, and delivering accurate payroll registers for management approval.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of payroll experience, with both salaried and hourly staff, and the ability to maintain strict

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with salaried and hourly staff payroll.
• Experience with seasonal or high-volume payroll cycles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bi-weekly payroll year-round for staff using ADP Workforce Now.
• Work with time and attendance data and MindBody exports.
• Manipulate data in Excel and import into ADP WFN using CSV templates.
• Provide payroll registers to executives for approval and maintain deadlines.
• Ensure payroll readiness by 2:00 PM on pay date; Fridays unless holiday.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and alert supervisors to issues.
• Distribute payroll reports to department heads and assist Finance on ad hoc projects.
