Job summary

Keller North America, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate weekly payroll processing across multiple business units and legal entities, including union and non-union employees.

The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and collaborates with HR, Benefits, and Finance to resolve payroll issues. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience, with ADP Workforce Now and strong Excel skills, and maintains confidentiality and timeliness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with union and non-union payroll preferred.
• Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and federal/state payroll requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet weekly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for multiple units and entities.
• Review time and attendance, pay changes, new hires, terminations, and other payroll transactions.
• Perform pre- and post-payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Handle off-cycle payments, garnishments, and special payroll transactions.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and collaborate with HR, Benefits, Finance, and other partners.
• Support payroll tax, quarter-end, year-end, and W‑2 activities.
• Maintain payroll records, SOPs, and internal controls.
