Job summary

Keller North America, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll processing across multiple entities and employee populations, including union and non-union staff.

You will review time data, process changes, audits, and reconciliations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, plus bargaining agreements. Collaboration with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, HR, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of hands-on payroll processing experience required, preferably with high-volume, multi-entity, and multi-state weekly payroll.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now required.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and wage/hour requirements.
• FPC or CPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multiple units, entities, and union/non-union staff.
• Validate timekeeping, pay changes, hires, terminations, deductions, taxes, and bonuses.
• Perform pre- and post-payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Process off-cycle payments, manual checks, garnishments, and other special payroll transactions.
• Apply collective bargaining agreements provisions and related deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with laws, policies, and CBAs.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and partners.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Support payroll tax, quarter-end, year-end, and W‑2 processes.
• Maintain payroll records and SOPs, ensuring internal controls.
• Support audits and provide payroll reports and documentation.
