Job summary

The City of Charlotte is seeking a Customer Service and Revenue Assistant within the Shelter Operations Division of Animal Care and Control. You will process payments for adoptions, licenses, reclaims, and issue receipts, while maintaining accurate financial records and reports.

As primary adoption and intake counselor, you will communicate with the public, assist with adoptions and reclaims, and help maintain the shelter, including animal care tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant work experience in animal services or customer service.
• Ability to process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
