Job summary

Texans Together is seeking a Sr. Manager, Adoption Preparation to lead a team focused on preparing children, youth, and families for successful permanency. You will provide leadership, strategic planning, and program development to ensure high-quality adoption preparation services.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, cross-agency collaboration, and a commitment to culturally responsive practices. Office-based with regional assignments across Regions 6a/6b.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field; relevant experience may be substituted.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a social services setting.
• Experience supervising staff, planning and coordinating program operations, and implementing complex policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and development to assigned staff.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work to meet program goals and workload needs.
• Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs; address performance concerns.
• Foster a collaborative, strengths-based work environment and continuous improvement.
• Build partnerships with families, youth, schools, and community partners.
• Develop and deliver trainings and program information to stakeholders.
