Job summary

High School Diploma required.
Associate degree in social work, human services, behavioral health or related field preferred.
Experience with child welfare or foster care a plus.
Background checks (BCI/FBI) required with clean record.

Responsibilities

Review case records and interview youth, caseworker, and family members.
Identify resources within the youth’s network to support recruitment.
Develop an adoption readiness assessment describing youth understanding and feelings about adoption.
Create child-focused recruitment plans for the youth.
Meet with the youth monthly to monitor progress.
Maintain monthly communication with the caseworker regarding recruitment plan progress.
Facilitate permanency and family connections.
