Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Wendy's Wonderful Kids Recruiter to support adoption recruitment and permanency efforts from a home-based Georgia office, with substantial statewide travel. You will partner with counties, obtain authorizations for using child photos, and manage a caseload of children ready for adoption.

You will engage diverse communities, deliver trainings, and participate in monthly and annual events to advance the program’s mission with faith-driven dedication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent; Master’s in Social Work preferred.
• Knowledge of state, community and agency resources.
• Strong public speaking and training skills with interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and build relationships.
• Excellent interviewing, observation, and family assessment skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Implement Wendy's Wonderful Kids recruitment model to secure permanency for local waiting children.
• Coordinate authorizations to use photos of children as permitted by agencies.
• Collaborate with service area counties to identify appropriate referrals.
• Conduct monthly visits and travel within the state, with occasional overnight travel.
• Manage caseload of children eligible for adoption and pursue permanency.
• Organize recruitment events and distribute information promptly.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email within 24 hours.
• Attend staff and WWK team meetings and the annual recruitment summit.
