Job summary

North Pointe Care Center in Sacramento, CA seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) (RN) to join our leadership team. You will support the Director of Nursing in daily operations and drive high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

The ideal candidate has California RN license, SNF/long-term care leadership experience, and a passion for clinical excellence. This role offers a competitive salary and opportunities to grow within a respected facility

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted California RN license.
Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and state requirements.
Experience with survey readiness and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing and directing nursing department operations.
Support, mentor, and supervise RNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Monitor quality measures, clinical outcomes, and infection prevention programs.
Assist with staff training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
Participate in surveys, audits, and plans of correction.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families.
Support admissions, care planning, and clinical documentation.
