Job summary

Arden Park Post Acute in California is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. As ADON, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, promote resident safety, and ensure high-quality care.

This role requires an active RN license in good standing in California, 3–5 years of nursing management, BSN preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and PCC.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 3–5 years of nursing management experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, and supervising daily nursing operations and nursing staff.
• Support recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, and professional development of nursing personnel.
• Assist with employee performance management, staff concerns, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Oversee clinical operations, including monitoring resident conditions, rounds, and ensuring quality nursing care.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and respect while ensuring appropriate care.
• Collaborate with residents, family, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
