This role focuses on leadership, clinical oversight, and regulatory compliance within a 176-bed skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Desire to learn and grow as part of a quality focused clinical team.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery and propose improvements.
• Enforce policies and guide the team to promote growth.
• Coach RNs to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Manage administrative functions to improve department efficiency.
• Communicate care needs with residents and families.
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation with leadership peers.
