You will assist in directing daily nursing operations, support clinical excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering resident-centered care.

The role requires an RN license and at least one year of supervisory experience in long-term care, along with strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of RN supervisory experience as a DON, ADON, or similar leadership role in long-term care.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards of practice.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with overall management of the Nursing Department.
• Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in staff education, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and clinical operations as needed.
• Conduct rounds to monitor resident care and address clinical concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote a positive, resident-centered care environment.
