Job summary

Elderwood at North Creek is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead nursing operations and drive resident outcomes. You’ll partner with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to guide staffing, compliance, and quality initiatives in a busy long‑term care setting.

As ADON, you’ll supervise nursing staff, oversee infection control, participate in audits, and support continuous staff development while ensuring 24‑hour nursing coverage and high‑quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current, unrestricted nursing license required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care setting.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure exceptional resident outcomes.
• Supervise and develop nursing staff; foster engagement and accountability.
• Serve as Infection Control Preventionist; lead safety and compliance initiatives.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Step in as Director of Nursing when needed to maintain leadership continuity.
• Support staffing, onboarding, and training to ensure 24‑hour nursing coverage.
