Job summary

Villa Healthcare’s Green Lake Estates is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead the nursing team and partner with the DON and Administrator to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires strong management skills, RN licensure, CPR certification, and leadership experience. Travel up to 10% may be required; opportunities for growth and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license with the state required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Prefer previous nursing and leadership experience of at least three years; ADON preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work assignments to ensure regulatory compliance and staffing.
• Assist DON in daily nursing staff management and enforce policies.
• Participate in selection of new admissions and assess facility needs for residents.
• Ensure physicians make visits as required and necessary equipment is available.
• Manage nursing department budget and provide budgetary planning information.
• Collaborate with DON and Administrator to plan staff development programs.
• Work with regional personnel to improve resident care quality.
• Develop programs for improved outcomes and reduce unnecessary acute care.
