Job summary
Haralson Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead quality care and nursing operations in our skilled nursing facility. The ADON will oversee infection control, QA/CQI processes, preadmission assessments, and staff development to ensure compassionate, compliant care.
The role requires an active RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience within healthcare, with a focus on leadership and
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Registered Nurse license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
- On-call hours within a weekly rotation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality care in a safe, efficient manner.
- Direct the center's Infection Control and participate in QA/CQI processes.
- Manage preadmission assessments to ensure prompt completion.
- Supervise, educate, and coach nursing staff to foster a collaborative environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Participate in state/federal survey processes and write/implement plans of correction.
- Develop and implement in-service and training programs to enhance staff skills.
- Maintain clinical records in compliance with laws.
