Job summary

Haralson Nursing and Rehab invites applications for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the care team, ensure high-quality nursing services, and support safe, patient-centered operations.

The ADON will oversee infection control, QA/CQI activities, regulatory compliance, and staff education, while managing preadmission assessments and maintaining accurate clinical records in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• On-call hours within a weekly rotation.
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service focus.
• Knowledge of medications' therapeutic effects and side effects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure delivery of high-quality care in a safe, efficient manner.
• Direct infection control process and participate in the QA/CQI process.
• Manage preadmission assessments, ensuring they are completed promptly.
• Supervise, educate, and coach nursing and caregiving staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
