Job summary
Mount Zion Health and Rehab Center in Mount Zion, Illinois, seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The RN will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the Nursing Department, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications
- RN license in Illinois (required).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations.
- Ensure nursing services are provided per facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staff.
- Monitor resident care practices to ensure quality outcomes.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Participate in evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Conduct rounds to monitor resident conditions and address concerns.
