Job summary

Ambassador Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to advance care quality while ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth operation of daily nursing services.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, driving performance improvements, and maintaining thorough documentation. IL RN licensure and at least 2 years of leadership experience are required for consideration.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience.
Active IL RN license is required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Conduct regular audits to ensure regulatory compliance and company standards.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments (therapy, social work, dietary).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Mentor and educate staff to promote professional development and growth.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and reports.
