Arc at Sangamon valley in Illinois is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current standards and regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree or approved LPN with pharmacology course.
• Must hold an Illinois RN or LPN license (unencumbered).
• 2+ years of supervisor healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct day-to-day nursing department functions per regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Ensure staffing, medications, and safety equipment are available per shift to maintain quality care.
