Job summary

Arcadia Care seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing operations within our Illinois facility.

The ADON will coordinate nursing services with resident care teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and handle administrative tasks to uphold quality care. This role requires a current IL nursing license and leadership capabilities in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree or graduate of an approved LPN program with pharmacology.
• Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered RN or LPN license.
• Two years of supervisor healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Assist in coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in ensuring enough licensed staff and supplies are available for each shift to maintain quality care.

Education

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

Graduate of an approved LPN program with a pharmacology course
