Job summary

Journey in Stanford, KY seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to serve as a clinical operational liaison between units and the Director of Nursing. You will oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while improving patient and family satisfaction.

Active RN license with 3+ years of nursing experience (1+ year in supervision) and a BSN preference; BLS/CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state regulations.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English with clerical ability to analyze reports and data.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON and lead nursing department in daily operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audits, infection control, and quality initiatives.
• Mentor staff, oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance reviews.
