Job summary
Twin City Trails is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to serve as a clinical operations liaison between units and the Director of Nursing. The ADON will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure policy compliance, mentor staff, and coordinate cross-department communication to improve patient and family satisfaction.
The role also involves implementing care delivery models, supervising nursing personnel, and stepping in for the DON as needed to maintain continuity of leadership.
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least three years of nursing experience and supervisory exposure.
- BSN preferred; ability to organize and manage nursing services and personnel.
- Proficient reading, writing, and English communication; strong data analysis skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department, including staffing and scheduling.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, participate in chart audits, and oversee infection control and quality initiatives.
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews to ensure high-quality care.
