Job summary

Extended Care LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and reshape the nursing team. This role focuses on supervising clinical initiatives, monitoring performance metrics, and boosting patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois with long-term care experience.
• Experience supervising nursing staff and leading change management initiatives.
• Strong staff education and mentorship capabilities.
• Ability to plan, develop and direct daily nursing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning and directing day-to-day nursing department functions.
• Participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections as requested.
• Collaborate with QA Nurse to maintain quality assurance programs.
• Help develop and update resident discharge plans.
• Handle administrative duties including forms, reports and charting.
