Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical operations, support resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires strong clinical judgment and hands-on leadership in a long-term care setting.

You will oversee staffing, care planning, documentation, infection control, and staff development while collaborating with physicians and the nursing team to deliver restorative, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Proven leadership/management experience in healthcare.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs by stepping in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties.
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date resident documentation.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and teams.
• Ensure access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold infection control through assessments and measures.
