Job summary

Citrus Grove Post Acute is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead our nursing services and ensure the highest level of resident care. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards while supporting best practices in care delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, RN or LVN licensure in good standing, and experience with nursing operations in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Graduate from an approved LVN or RN program
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LVN or RN in the state
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and guiding nursing services to ensure quality care
• Support the DON in developing and revising care plans and nursing practices
• Provide training and guidance to nursing staff per policies and best practices
• Coordinate care and oversee daily nursing operations
• Collaborate with other departments for comprehensive resident care
• Promote a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility
