Job summary

SNF Hires in Silverton, Ohio seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive resident-centered care.

The ADON will lead nursing staff across RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, participate in scheduling, audits, and quality metrics, and contribute to survey readiness, onboarding, and staff development in a supportive environment that values accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN or LPN license (RN strongly preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical compliance and survey readiness.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with day-to-day clinical operations
• Support oversight of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Participate in staff scheduling, audits, and clinical rounds
• Monitor quality measures, incident reports, and clinical outcomes
• Assist with survey readiness, inspections, and plan of correction processes
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of nursing staff
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
