Job summary

Silvercrest of Urbana in Urbana, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, mentor staff, and promote regulatory compliance to ensure exceptional resident care.

Ideal candidates hold an active Ohio RN license, have prior long-term care or skilled nursing leadership experience, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and critical thinking

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations and nursing home operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations.
• Coach and mentor nursing staff to maintain high-quality resident care.
• Help oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
• Monitor quality assurance and infection prevention initiatives.
• Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and rounds.
• Investigate incidents and help implement corrective action plans.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident-centered care.
