Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning and directing the Nursing Department in our Indiana facility. You will help ensure optimal resident outcomes and collaborate with physicians, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include establishing department standards, monitoring care quality, staffing appropriately, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN licensure in the state of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish objectives and standards for the Nursing Department per regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate resident care and rounds.
• Ensure adequate staffing through training and personnel processes.
• Communicate changes in resident status promptly to physicians and families.
• Build rapport with staff, residents, families, and other health-care team members.
• Implement standards of care, policies and procedures.
• Work on the floor as needed.
• Conduct monthly internal quality audits using audit tools.
