Job summary

Waters of Greencastle, The, LLC in Greencastle, IN seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating Nursing Department services. This role requires collaboration with other departments to promote holistic Resident care and maximal independence.

The ADON will help establish objectives, ensure proper staffing, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered, active RN licensure in the state of employment.
• 2 years in Skilled Nursing Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, directing and evaluating Nursing Department services.
• Ensure staffing levels meet Resident needs on a shift basis through training and personnel processes.
• Communicate significant changes in Resident status to physicians and families promptly.
• Establish rapport with facility staff, healthcare team, Residents and families.
• Implement standards of care, policies and procedures; work on the floor when needed.
• Conduct monthly internal self-audits of Quality Indicators.
