Waters of Greencastle, The, LLC in Greencastle, IN is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our compassionate team. This leadership position supports the Director of Nursing in planning, directing, and evaluating the Nursing Department to help residents attain maximal independence and a holistic, rehabilitative approach.

The ADON may assume supervisory responsibility in the Director's absence.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of employment.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in skilled nursing.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement objectives and standards for the Nursing Department.
• Evaluate and monitor resident rounds and care quality.
• Ensure sufficient staffing through training and personnel processes.
• Communicate significant changes to physicians and family members.
• Establish rapport with facility staff, healthcare team, residents and visitors.
• Implement standards of care, policies and procedures.
• Work on the floor when necessary.
• Conduct monthly internal self-audits of Quality Indicators.
