Job summary

Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Florida seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to become Assistant Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facility. This role provides clinical and organizational leadership and supports the Director of Nursing.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervisor or ADON experience in long‑term care, is compassionate, can manage multiple priorities, and motivate staff. Flexible hours and on‑call rotation preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisor or ADON experience in long-term care.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record software (PCC a plus).
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of deficiency-free status by monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure staff orientation and ongoing in-servicing.
• Maintain regular communication with residents and families about care.
• Oversee nursing care standards and staff performance with input to the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinate with infection control and quality initiatives and participate in discharge planning.
