Job summary

LongTerm Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN leader for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ADON will partner with the Director of Nursing to drive high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on clinical leadership, staff development skills, and a track record of coaching teams to excellence in a fast-paced SNF environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
• Previous nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in SNF/long-term care strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily department operations.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Monitor resident care for quality, safety, and compliance.
• Conduct clinical rounds and follow up on resident care needs.
• Support nursing documentation accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
