Job summary

The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical leadership team. This role supports the Director of Nursing in managing daily operations, maintaining quality resident care, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing environment.

The ADON will supervise nursing staff, oversee staffing and workflows, contribute to QAPI initiatives, and support survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Prior leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
• Experience in ADON, Unit Manager, Nurse Supervisor, or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Supervise nursing staff and support quality care delivery.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows.
• Monitor documentation, care plans, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory audits.
• Support staff education, mentorship, and professional development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
