Creative Solutions in Healthcare seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance in our Longview, Texas facility. This leadership role requires reliable judgment, strong clinical skills, and the ability to coordinate among nursing teams, physicians, and administrators.

As ADON, you will oversee MDS, care planning, performance improvement, infection control, and staff development, while maintaining accurate documentation and a restorative

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs and step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS involvement, care planning, performance improvement and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and up-to-date resident records.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold infection control measures and conduct assessments.
