Southwestern Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care 24/7. The ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing to plan, develop and operate the Nursing Department in alignment with our mission.

Key responsibilities include overseeing staffing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting excellent patient care while mentoring staff.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year professional nursing experience in long-term care.
• Previous Unit Manager or ADON experience required.
• Knowledge of infection control, MDS and Care Planning Process.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that apply to practice of nursing in long term care.

Responsabilidades

• Keep patient and employee records updated.
• Performs the duties of the DON during the Director's absence from the facility.
• Implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect facility mission and philosophy.
• Conducts education, infection control, quality assurance and admission screening functions as assigned.
• Utilizes resources to ensure residents achieve the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Supervise rounds, assess staffing needs, monitor regulatory compliance, and evaluate staff performance.
• Screen admissions for level of care and coordinate with families and staff for new residents.
• Assist DON with Department of Health Survey preparation.
