Job summary

Avante at Ocala is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department while directing in-service educational programs in accordance with federal, state and local standards.

The ADON will help ensure the highest level of quality care, with a focus on staff development, compliance, and program implementation in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with applicable licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• Must read/write legibly and speak/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing and directing daily nursing operations.
• Develop and direct in-service educational programs per governing standards.
• Ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
