Job summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for supervising daily nursing activities to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will oversee clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a compassionate environment for our residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current, unencumbered status.
• Minimum of one year as ADON or Nurse Supervisor.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing activities to maintain quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Direct nursing staff with the DON and supervise RN, LPN, and CNA staffing.
• Participate in QA program and implement corrective actions.
• Review nurses' notes and care plans for accuracy.
