Job summary

Prestige Care Center of Plattsmouth is seeking a results-oriented Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for resident care. The role requires a Nursing degree, three years of supervisory experience in a health care setting, an RN license, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities include assisting the Director of Nursing, enforcing policies, participating in admissions decisions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum three years' supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Current unrestricted RN license.
• Knowledgeable of long-term care laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing the day‑to‑day operations of the Nursing Services department and its programs.
• Interprets and communicates policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitors staff practices.
• Participates in all admission decisions as indicated.
• Participates in management team meetings to discuss census changes, resident changes, or concerns.
• Assists in evaluating staff performance and enforces policies.
• Participates in QAPI or facility assessment activities as needed.
• Facilitates and participates in facility committees.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care with adequate staff coverage and cleanliness.
• Collaborates with physicians and other professionals to improve care quality.
