Job summary

CASA is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Fort Wayne Health Care Campus. The role partners with the Director of Nursing to strengthen resident care and support a skilled clinical team at our Fort Wayne campus.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current Indiana license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and support a nursing team.
• Dependable, professional, and team-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily operation of the nursing department.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing employees.
• Monitor nursing practices, documentation, and changes in resident condition.
• Support employee scheduling, staffing, orientation, training, and development.
• Assist with infection prevention, quality improvement, and risk-reduction efforts.
• Participate in resident care planning and communicate with residents, families, and providers.
• Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility requirements.
• Support surveys, audits, investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Step in for the Director of Nursing when needed.
