Job summary

The Heritage Community is a Utah-based program overseeing Elevate Academy, a residential treatment setting for adolescents. Elevate Academy Coaches provide supervised support and mentoring to guide the students in therapy-informed progression and daily task application.

We seek individuals who demonstrate engagement, attunement, and passion to excel, with a focus on trauma-informed care, safety, and collaborative teamwork with the Treatment Team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age or older to apply.
• Physical ability to provide interventions, such as safety holds.
• A valid Driver's License, with no more than one traffic violation in the past three years to transport students using company vehicles.
• Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
• The Heritage Community is a smoke and vape free work place.

Responsibilities

• Develop close, personal, and emotionally supportive relationships with the students to coach them in their treatment progression.
• Implement treatment plans and ensure a healthy, safe, caregiving environment; participate in activities to help students develop skills (e.g., sports, biking, skiing, etc.).
• Use mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students during escalated moments.
• Transport students to and from off-campus appointments and activities using company vehicles.
