Job summary

The Heritage Community's Elevate Academy in Provo seeks a Regulation Life Coach to support teens through treatment progress, de-escalate crises, and model healthy life skills. You will engage students one-on-one and in groups, participating in physical and social activities to foster resilience and confidence.

The role emphasizes safety, compassionate communication, and teamwork, with a schedule that includes weekdays and a monthly Sunday shift, in a nonprofit treatment setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coach and mentor teenagers.
• Ability to learn and apply neurodiversity and mental health concepts.
• Energetic, empathetic, and engaging personality.
• Strong problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop supportive relationships with students to coach progress.
• Implement treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team.
• Maintain a safe, caring environment for students.
• Participate in activities to help students build life skills.
• Use de-escalation techniques to support students in crisis.
• Respond promptly to crises in a calm, controlled manner.
• Transport students to off-campus activities in company vehicles.
