Job summary

Spark Homestead, part of The Heritage Community, seeks dynamic life coaches to help teenagers discover passions and reach their potential. You’ll coach one-on-one, in groups, and join activities to build life skills, confidence and resilience.

Based in Provo, UT, The Heritage Community has a long-standing history since 1984 as a nonprofit treatment program. Background checks are required for all hires.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coach and mentor adolescents.
• Understanding of neurodiversity and mental health.
• Energy to work in all weather conditions.
• Engaging, empathetic and tenacious demeanor.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop close, personal, emotionally supportive relationships with students.
• Implement treatment plans and ensure a healthy, safe environment during activities.
• Participate in a wide range of activities to develop life skills (sports, biking, skiing, etc.).
• Use mediation/intervention techniques to support students during escalated moments.
• Transport students to/from off-campus appointments and activities using company vehicles.
