Suncoast Behavioral Health Center in Bradenton, FL, seeks an Adolescent Residential Therapist (PRN) to conduct therapeutic services for patients and provide counseling to families, individuals, and groups. You will interview and document psychological histories, assess therapeutic needs, and develop treatment objectives and monthly summaries.

As primary contact for patients and families, you will coordinate discharge planning, liaise with outside agencies, and advocate with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or mental health counseling.
• Current Florida license such as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMFTI or LMHCI required.
• One year direct clinical experience with children/adolescents in family, individual and group therapy.
• Must be able to participate in physical restraint and annual Handle With Care Training.

Responsabilités

• Provides group, individual, and family therapy as scheduled, documenting responses.
• Ensures Psychosocial Assessments are prepared for each patient within established time frames.
• Oversees case management and discharge planning components of the Master Treatment Plan and reviews with patient and family.
• Develops appropriate aftercare plans and coordinates community agency support.
• Reports known or suspected abuse of patients.
• Works with a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality patient care.
