Suncoast Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks an Adolescent Residential Therapist (PRN Weekends) to deliver therapeutic services in a safe, trauma-informed setting.

You will provide group, individual and family therapy, perform psychosocial assessments, and assist with discharge planning and aftercare, serving as the primary contact for patients and families throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling.
• Current Florida state professional license (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC/LMFTI/LMHCI).
• At least 1 year direct clinical experience with children/adolescents.
• Ability to interview and develop psychosocial histories and treatment plans.

Responsabilités

• Provides group, individual, and family therapy as scheduled and/or assigned, documenting patients'/families' response to interventions.
• Ensures a Psychosocial Assessment is prepared for each patient according to established time frames, sharing with the treatment team.
• Oversees case management and discharge planning components of the Master Treatment Plan and reviews with patient and family.
• Develops aftercare plans with the patient and arranges community agency support, documenting it.
• Reports known or suspected abuse of patients.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
