Job summary

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Adolescent Residential Therapist (PRN Weekends). You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, document progress, and coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling is required.
• Current Florida license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMFTI or LMHCI) required.
• One year direct clinical experience with children/adolescents in family, individual and group therapy; training in abuse, trauma, addiction, play/art/relaxation therapies may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide group, individual, and family therapy as scheduled and document patient/family responses.
• Prepare psychosocial assessments for each patient within established timeframes and share with the treatment team.
• Oversee discharge planning components of the Master Treatment Plan and MTPreviews, documenting discussions with patient and family.
