Job summary

Turnbridge seeks a Support Staff Manager for a new adolescent residential program in New Haven. You will lead the Support Staff, establish daily routines, ensure safety and professional boundaries, and collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain high-quality care.

This role requires strong communication, coaching, and crisis-management skills, with a focus on building a positive team culture and compliant, structured operations within a 24/7 residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in direct care, residential services, behavioral health, mental health, substance use, or related fields preferred.
• Previous supervisory/leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide daily direction to the Support Staff team.
• Establish routines, structure, and expectations in the residential program.
• Ensure staff supervision, guidance, and support to residents.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance; provide coaching and feedback.
• Assist with training new staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, resident concerns, and program needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents and multidisciplinary team.
